It's like Abruptum, only with an undercut. In a trailer park.

I could try to write something more clever, but there is not much to say other than the obvious: In this video, some white trash kid plays a solo black metal show on the patio of his trailer.

--

Oh to be young again

At first it's just him shrieking by himself, but later in the video he attempts to get some of the half-dozen people watching to scream "I hate people." I like the idea of mandatory audience participation, but not as much as I like his undercut. All he needs is an Ugly Kid Joe baja jacket and his look is complete.

The funniest part, though, is that the song is pretty sick, at least at the beginning-- it makes me think of, say, Abruptum meets Dystopia, and you could do a lot worse than that combination. Don't get me wrong, the kid has no talent and the song falls apart very quickly, but it starts on a promising note.

I just Photoshopped this, but I will pay a king's ransom for a garment like it if you ever come across one

But this intriguing video begs many questions: Where are the other band members? How did he force these 6 neighborhood teens to watch his performance?? What is he up to now? (I am guessing he drives a Frito-Lay delivery truck in the greater Indianapolis area) When will undercuts make a comeback????

  2. Is he wearing cycling shorts? Yikes, that's one 90's trend for men that I pray never returns.

  3. That video is dated 1996. He probably has a wife and kids and never thought this video would come back to haunt him. My, how he was wrong.

  4. LOL Sarge, did you really try to edit that baja jacket wikipedia article?
Man, I would have given you a pass. I mean, it says there right on top that no one cares about that article!
But maybe that's just why I'm no wiki-fascist.

  5. Sarge, I thought you abandoned this site for greener pastures.

    BTW, Hatebreed suxx.

  8. I really, really miss my undercut. It was my alltime favorite haircut. So badass, easy to give myself haircuts, so many different ways to rock it (hanging out from under a hat, slicked back, ponytail sticking out of back of head, parted in the middle(the butt-curt), etc.). Alas, I might lose points in the professional world for bringing it back.

Who am I kidding, I am going bald and can never have it again :(

  11. That video could totally be a deleted scene from the directors cut of Children of the Corn, where Malachi preaches his message of hate via metal. An evil ginger teen, a group of willing spectators and even an appearance of the police officer that the fuckers kill and crucify later on. If you listen @0.44 he even says ‘cut the corn’. In this version the children of Gatlin all had a growth deficiency.

  12. As terrible as this is, it's still better than anything Havohej did after "Dethrone the Son of God".

  13. i can offer some background on this post.

the band's name is Satan's God (duh), and the guy's name is jeremy bequette aka flackzz aka igor von heilichtson III. he's from st. louis, as am i. he's a totally sociopathic nutcase, but he's a decent guy if you know him. i haven't actually talked to him face to face in about 4 years, but i DO trade tapes and stuff with him semi-regularly.

also, this is only one of his bands. see also The Frankenhookers (killer punk metal) and Stradion (okay prog metal).

and jeremy hates the internet and telephones, so if anyone wants to communicate with him (especially in the form of traded tapes and zines), write to him at:

    Jeremy Bequette
    PO Box 771142
    St. Louis MO 63177
    USA

and be sure to return his stamps.

    this post rules btw.

If you are looking for a serious project then totally ignore this piece of shit. Sure this guy is full of hatred but who the fuck isn't these days? One of the only actual riffs to show up on here sounds like it was recorded on a shitty little 12" amplifier through a boom box or something. This sucks! Who gives a fuck if you hate women and want to kill yourself Jeremy? Do it already and quit wasting my time! – Jeffrey Kusbel

  19. Shermstixx is right, Sarge. I believe we already had the drug rug/baja jacket debate sometime last year.

Anyway you want to refer to them, they are the biggest sign of white trash who are "exploring their horizons."

Btw, see if you can get your lazy-ass blogmates to write more articles. Tell them to stop going Ikea shopping with their bitches, and stop attending coworkers-nights-out at Dave and Busters.

  20. I'm tearing up because this video is so beautiful. I'm serious. It brings back so many memories.

Did someone seriously say to "return his stamps"? What is this? 1993?

Do you know how badly I wanted a Baja drug rub circa 1992? Badly!

PS: I had to go back and add the "small amp metal" label to this post. Never has a finer display of this art form been seen.

PS2: my brother had the undercut

PS3: I call the undercut, "the masher", not sure why.

  24. Holy shit, I uploaded that video. And for the record, it came to me on a VHS cassette that also included the video for "Cherry Orchards" and the Ric Flair/Terry Funk "I Quit" match.

  25. @Lucho "Do you know how badly I wanted a Baja drug rub circa 1992? Badly!"
same here, but that was because I wanted to look like a real grinder, not just a death metaller: white shirt with impossible logo, long hair, grunge denim vest and jeans with rips and all that stuff! Great memories, I loved my "pathology shirt + jester wool cap" combo!

  26. Despite me being a death metal fan, I gotta say it: Ugly Kid Joe fucking rules, their 1st and 3rd albums are fucking awesome!! -and I'm not saying that because we had the same guitar teacher-

  27. The real question here is; what could that police officer possibly have seen that caused him to leave a scene of such nefarious intent? That seemed like "cop porn", the kind of thing the officer would have gotten on his radio, called all the other cops in town, and told them to report to 257 White Trash Lane, and don't forget to bring your nightsticks, looks like there's going to be some resistance down here.

Also, nothing says "lanky" like a pair of skin tight short shorts. Nice touch.

  30. i have also heard the "undercut" hairstyle referred to as "the lollapalooza", as it was somewhat popular in the early 90s with semi-mainstream stangry industrial and goth dudes.

  31. There are a lot of reasons people cannot resist cheap north face jackets, as it is not only a kind of advanced outer wear which also more inexpensive compared to north face jackets on sale online, but you can still look delight when you dress it. Since its the newest styles and many colors can create you different, meanwhile save your money a lot.

  35. Jeremy's an alright dude. Eccentric as hell, but that's part of his charm. I played some shows with him and some of his projects and have stayed in contact with him through trading music over the years. He has created a name for himself for sure, considering he does no online promotion of himself and here we are talking about him. Cool to see this post.
